Rev. Thomas Reeder, Jr. began serving Apostles Lutheran Church-LCMS in December
of 2003. Before accepting the Divine Call to Apostles, he served as Assistant Pastor at Pilgrim Lutheran Church-LCMS in Wauwatosa,
WI from 1999-2003. He graduated from Concordia Seminary-St. Louis (CSL) in 1999 with a Master of Divinity degree. His
undergraduate degree was in Psychology, which he received in 1994 from the University of Central Missouri (UCM) in Warrensburg, MO.
Pastor Reeder grew up in the state of Missouri, though his birth place was Port Arthur, TX. The son of a pastor, his family
moved to several different locations, all the while remaining in the "Show Me" state. While at UCM, he met his soon-to-be wife,
Yunmei, at a Bible study being offered at St. Timothy & Titus chapel-LCMS.
Pastor Reeder and his wife have two children.
They enjoy the Platteville area and the people.
Pastor Reeder's fervent desire is to preach and teach the Word of God faithfully
and for everyone who hears to come to saving faith through Jesus, who is the only Way, truth, and life (John 14:6).
