Concordia Lutheran Church
To Make the Love of Jesus R.E.A.L. In the Lives of All People

   FOURTH SUNDAY AFTER EPIPHANY

January 31, 2010
   8:15 a.m. and 10:45 a.m.

AS WE GATHER:
Love.  Nothing we do or say, as Paul maintains in the Epistle lesson, if not done with love, is worthwhile or beneficial to others or us.  And, as Paul goes on, love is patient, kind, protecting, trusting and hopeful.  Even more so, love keeps no record of wrongs.  We are to forgive and forget.  Do you struggle with that, like I do?  And yet, we, as Christians, are expected to do exactly that.  So, how can we?  With God’s help, that’s how.  Pray that God first forgive and forget your own sins, and then that God help you do likewise with others.  Amen.
