This organization - Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America - is more fondly known as WELCA. There are 3circles that meet at various locations and times of the day and evening each month so every woman can be involved in this fellowship experience. Each circle enjoys food, fellowship, and planning for the ministries of the church and the community.
Circles currently meet at the times listed below. The church office can put you in touch with the leader whose circle meeting is most convenient for you.
The Lutheran Church Youth (LCY) of Incarnation is an active group of young people, grades 6 through 12, who enjoy fellowship with other youth and serve their congregation and community. There are activities for having fun, social gatherings, educational programs, worship, and community service. Overnight and weekend trips include opportunities such as camping, snow skiing, youth rallies, lock-ins, and retreats. The youth gather on Sundays at 12:15 PM for lunch followed by their weekly meeting at 1 PM.
Since the late 1960s, Incarnation has had a sewing group that makes quilts during weekly meetings at the church. Each year, 30 - 40 quilts are distributed locally to such places as The Lowman Home and globally through Lutheran World Relief. Material for the quilts comes from donations; additional expenses are covered by the church.
Our newly resurrected Lutheran Men in Mission group gathers monthly for food, fellowship, and devotions. Service projects are scheduled throughout the year
