Lutheran Music Hymn: "The Lord's My Shepherd"

He tends his flock like a shepherd: he gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those that have young. (Isaiah 40:11 NIV)

A Brief Description of Faith Lutheran Church

The mission and ministry of Faith Lutheran Church is to make and to nurture disciples of Jesus Christ, through Word and Sacrament, by the power of the Holy Spirit.

We are a Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (LCMS) congregation located in Hopkinsville, Kentucky. Hopkinsville is a town of about 35,000 people in south-central Kentucky, east of Land Between the Lakes and just north of Fort Campbell. It is the county seat of Christian County and the largest town in the area.

Our church family is a mixture of native Kentuckians, people who have moved into the area, military personnel and families from Fort Campbell. We are the only Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod congregation within several counties in this area. Some members of our congregation live in Hopkinsville, but many come from the outlying areas.

Rev. James C. Redmann is our pastor. We are in the Mid-South District of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod.

How to find Faith Lutheran Church

Faith Lutheran Church is located in a residential area in the southwestern part of Hopkinsville near Indian Hills Elementary School. Our street address is 405 Sheila Drive, and it is best reached from Country Club Lane.

Country Club Lane is a major semi-circle that runs from Fort Campbell Blvd. (Highway 41-A) to Canton Street (Highway 272). Faith Lutheran Church is located one block off Country Club Lane between Highways 695 and 272.

From Country Club Lane, turn onto Wayne Drive at the small white "Faith Lutheran Church" sign. Drive one block on Wayne Drive to the stop sign at the corner of Wayne Drive and Sheila Drive. Our church is on the opposite side of the intersection. Here's a photo of the church as you will see it.

If you would like more directions to Faith Lutheran Church, please call the church office (270-885-3969). You can also check this map of our area of Hopkinsville. Unfortunately, the arrow on Yahoo's map is pointing to the wrong corner, but look for us at the corner of Shelia Drive and Wayne Drive. Sheila Drive is on the west side of Country Club Lane between Highways 695 and 272.
