Sunday School
- Sunday Dec. 4th - the Sunday school will sing with the congregation to "You are my all in all",
singing the chorus at the 10:30 service.
- Sunday Dec. 11th - Jesus Birthday Party! The Sunday school will act out Luke 2 during the
10:30 service with birthday cake afterwards!!
- Sunday Dec. 25th - No Sunday school
- Sunday Jan 1st - No Sunday school

Operation Christmas Child Collection
This was once again a huge success!! We were able to put together 14 shoe boxes. Thank you to
the youth for helping to wrap and prepare all of the boxes for shipping.

World Vision
The Sunday school is collecting an offering to send to World Vision, a Christian organization
that helps third world countries!! We picked a chicken!!
Please give all you can to help with this offering.

Pen Pals
The Sunday school is in contact with a LCMS Lutheran school in New Orleans (K-8) to have
the Sunday school write to pen pals there!!
We may try to send some Christmas gifts to the students at the school, there are 61 students presently,
and are still in shock and some have lost everything. We'll keep you posted.

Youth Make Call to Green Hills Village
The youth (grades 8-12) made a special visit to Green Hills Village Senior Home last month and
shared special time with the residents passing out smiles, hugs and cookies. The visit was
especially appreciated by a few of the residents. One woman said "you gave me a reason to come
out of my room today and smile", another woman said "would you sing for us today?" Since we
were invited back, we'll plan to make this a visit that we plan to more often...and
next time we'll sing!!

National Youth Gathering
The National Youth Gathering has been moved to Orlando, Florida!! Youth...it's not to soon to
be getting pumped up for the LCMS National Youth Gathering, July 28 - Aug. 1, 2007.
