Holy Communion
We acknowledge and believe that:
  • I am a sinful human being in need of the forgiveness that Christ alone has won for me and offers to me in this sacrament.
  • Christ is God's Son and my personal Lord and Savior.
  • With the bread and wine, Christ offers me His true body and blood for the forgiveness of my sins.
  • I am participating because I desire a communion with Christ and with my fellow Christians, and together with them I proclaim my faith in Christ's death and resurrection.
  • I ask the Holy Spirit to guide me to lead a more Christian life.

If you disagree with or do not understand these statements, out of concern for your spiritual welfare we ask you to refrain from communing until you have had an opportunity to speak with our vicar.

Good Shepherd's Staff
Pastor - Bryan Spang is serving the congregation in Word and Sacrament ministry.
Parish Administrator - Our Parish Administrator is available during the week to answer the phone and help manage the day to day activities of the church.
We are here to serve you and together to more fully know the grace of God that has been revealed in his Son Jesus Christ.

Midweek Services
Midweek services are occasionally offered to commemorate special occasions (e.g. Advent, Lent) or concerns (e.g. Sept. 11).  In such instances, the service is usually on a Wednesday night at 7:00pm.  To find out if special services are being offered, please refer to the Church Calendar.

Other Worship Information
It is acceptable to sit throughout the service when directed to stand or kneel.

Childcare is provided downstairs during the Worship Service. We encourage parents with small children to escort their children downstairs prior to the beginning of the service or at whatever point the need arises.

Children's activity bags are available in the back of the sanctuary for young children who stay with their parents during our services. Return each refilled bag to the bin after the service.

A cry room is located off the entryway to the left of the sanctuary entrance. We encourage parents with small children to use this room whenever the need arises.

* Communion is generally administered weekly.  However, there are a few times each year when Pastor Spang is not here to administer it.  In these instances, no communion is offered.
