We, the members of Concordia Lutheran Church, acknowledge with deep gratitude that our Lord and God has chosen us to be His own, now and always.
As members of the body of Christ, with Christ, we strive to live as a family in Christ, with Christ as the head (Ephesians 4:15-16).
As a Christian family, we have been commanded to worship together (1 Corinthinans 16:19), grow in God's word (Ephesians 4:11-14), witness to all men (Acts 1:8), join together in Christian fellowship (Acts 2:42), and live in mutual forgiveness (Matthew 18:21-22).
As God cares for us (Matthew 6:25-31 and 1 Peter 5:7), so must we be concerned for one another and help one another to show love and to do good (Hebrews 10:24-25).
Responding to God's love and grace to us in Jesus Christ, we dedicate ourselves and our congregation to carry out the "Great Commission", making disciples of all people, baptizing and teaching them (Matthew 8:19-20).
That is, we are a people on a mission to ourselves, to each other, to other Christians, to all non-Christians, to our world, and to the society in which we live.
We dedicate ourselves to continued spiritual growth by increasing efforts in worship, fellowship, witnessing, education, spiritual care, service, and stewardship among God's people and all of our "neighbors."
