Sunday School for ages 3 through 6th grade is held from 10:30 to 11:30, during the second service, from September to May. The program for the 2006 – 2007 year follows a Workshop Rotational Model of instruction in four week cycles. This learning approach allows the children to concentrate on one theme story for each of the four weeks through a different learning medium each week. Pre-schoolers are taught in a self-contained classroom and are not part of the rotational model.

Vacation Bible School is conducted one week each summer for children of ages 3 through 6th grade and is held in conjunction with the membership of the New Life Korean Church in Palatine.

Confirmation Program “Hear We Stand” for those in grades 7 and 8 meets at 7:00 p.m. Thursday nights, September to May, to prepare these young adults with the faith knowledge of the Lutheran religion and an understanding of what it means to be a maturing Christian in today’s world.

Luther League is a program of fellowship and faith development for high school students that meets after the second service for Bible study and twice a month on Sunday evenings. See the Youth page for more detail.

Adult Learning offers interested individuals, from college age and up, the opportunity to participate in a variety of learning experiences to enhance and strengthen their knowledge and faith through topics of interest. The program begins at the end of September and goes through May.
